We Choose Fresh

We believe that Canadians who want to purchase farm fresh milk, and the farmers who put in the extra effort to produce it, have the right to do business with each other.

Many countries around the world recognize the rights of their citizens to drink farm fresh milk produced by local farmers. It’s time Canadians had those same rights recognized.

I'm signing this petition because Canadians should have the right to choose farm fresh Canadian milk!

All governments opposing raw milk consumption are hypocritical. Killers like tobacco and alcohol are approved but the healing benefits of raw milk outlawed. I wonder if taxes which flow to governments are the reason for the current law in Canada?

It’s ridiculous that raw milk is so illegal and you can legally buy things that cause actual harm (marijuana and alcohol, for example). Ok, so maybe that is a straw man argument. There are studies to show that there are health benefits to drinking unpasteurized milk and yet the laws have not changed to reflect that. Why is the government fighting so hard to uphold this particular law? It seems a bit extreme. Did you know that punishment-wise it is more illegal to sell raw milk than heroin? Ridiculous
